This is, by far, the most sane, rational and meaningful post that I have ever seen on hockeybuzz.

They always seem to play well vs la. It's Anaheim and San Jose that seem to own them. I'm ok with starting neuvy again. Although he's had bad stats, he actually has a solid win loss record. Team seems to play well for him.

As I said in the last thread. So odd for me to see ghost get that award last night even though he's currently a healthy scratch haha.

If the Flyers want to build their team into the mold of the Kings then maybe there isn't much use long term for players like ghost and konecny. Go over the kings cup rosters the smallest player I could find is Mike Richards. Everyone else 6'0 200 lbs. Flyers need to pick a direction and go.

Schultz scores the game winner off of an impossible deflection that will keep him in the line up forever

Can you have two guys in G and Konecny in your top 6 and then go and emulate what the kings did? Good luck!

Great.. NHL Network game.. Which means my NHL.TV will be blacked out from viewing the game, just so NHL network can rebroadcast a CSN feed as its own

Ghost better learn soon. Stay at home, no chance taking, crease clearing defenseman is where its at for his game.

None of those puck rushing, high risk high reward, diving save stuff for Hak.

Hak is basically Jacques Lemaire....minus the 835 points in 853 NHL games, all the Cup rings, and a track record of decades of success as an NHL player and coach.

The direction the Flyers have picked and are trying to head towards, is to become a top team . Regardless of how much their players weigh.

On the coaching side Lemaire, Bowman and every other coach didnt start their coaching career with decades of success as an NHL coach.

So far I dont think Hak has been great but I dont think he has been horrible, still he is not even through his full 2 season as a coach.
